Northern Regional Logistics & Cold Hub
Scope of Work
Development of a 10,000 sqm industrial warehouse complex designed for the storage and distribution of perishable agricultural goods. The project featured High-Clearance Warehousing and a 2,000 sqm Cold Chain Facility with precise temperature controls. We constructed heavy-duty, fiber-reinforced floor slabs to support high-bay racking and designed a specialized "Marshaling Yard" for heavy-duty haulage trucks.
Key Challenges & Solutions
- Challenge: Maintaining consistent sub-zero temperatures in a region with extreme ambient heat and frequent power fluctuations.
- Solution: We utilized high-density PIR sandwich panels with superior R-values and installed a redundant solar-hybrid power system to ensure the cooling cycle remained uninterrupted 24/7.
Technologies/Methodologies Used
- Laser-Screed Flooring: To achieve "Superflat" (SF) floor tolerances required for high-reach forklifts.
- WMS-Ready Infrastructure: Fiber-optic backbones and IoT sensor nodes for real-time inventory tracking.
"Our post-harvest losses have dropped by 40% since moving into this facility. The technical execution of the cold rooms is world-class."
