University Innovation & ICT Hub
Scope of Work
A flagship Educational Facility designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The building features Flexible Learning Spaces, a 200-seat auditorium with advanced AV, and a state-of-the-art ICT Lab with structured cabling for 500+ workstations. The design maximizes natural light through high-level clerestory windows, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Key Challenges & Solutions
- Challenge: Designing a space that is "future-proof" for rapidly changing technology.
- Solution: We implemented an underfloor air distribution (UFAD) system and a modular "Raised Access Floor." This allows the university to reconfigure data and power lines easily as new tech emerges.
Technologies/Methodologies Used
- Passive Solar Design: To minimize heat gain while maximizing natural illumination.
- Category 6A Structured Cabling: To support ultra-high-speed data requirements for research and development.
"This hub has become the heart of our campus. It’s durable, modern, and perfectly suited for our tech-savvy students."
